Baby Victoria turns one!  It's so exciting when our little ones reach those amazing milestones and turning one is probably the biggest one!  I love being able to encourage kiddos to make HUGE messes and dig into their delicious treat.  As parents, we are usually convincing them to not make a mess and be neat eaters.  But there's always an exception to the rule and this is definitely one of them.

I am a huge fan of milk baths so I usually offer a "splash" after the cake smash.  This is for a few reasons.  First, it helps clean baby off, second it's a TON of fun to watch them splash around and lastly, the pictures I can capture from it are awesome.  Now, in Colorado, I obviously can't be doing milk bath or bubble bath sessions along with the cake smash when the temperature gets too cold but I do offer to do the bath portion outdoors for as long as I can.  When my parents schedule their entire session in their home then the weather is not a problem!
